Epovax (Recombinant Human Erythropoietin Alfa) is a prescription erythropoiesis-stimulating agent (ESA) used to treat anemia by stimulating red blood cell production. Indicated for anemia associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD), chemotherapy-induced anemia, and conditions requiring transfusion reduction, it works by enhancing erythropoiesis to improve oxygen transport and reduce fatigue.
Main indications include anemia management in CKD patients, chemotherapy-related anemia in cancer treatment, and transfusion avoidance in severe anemia.
