Gliclazide is an oral antihyperglycemic agent used for the treatment of non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM).

Dosage: Gliclazide dosage can differ. Follow your doctor's prescription for this medication.

For standard gliclazide, the highest daily dose is 320mg. If more than 160mg is required, it should be split into two equal doses.

For slow-release gliclazide, the maximum daily dose is 120mg.

Precautions: Mixing gliclazide with steroids, antibiotic, NSAID, hormones, warfarin and herbal supplements may cause low blood sugar.

Storage: Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
