Jeev [Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine (Inactivated, Adsorbed) ]

JEEV 6 mcg/0.5 mL — Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine (Inactivated, Adsorbed) Active immunization against Japanese encephalitis for individuals aged 3–49 years. Indicated for those traveling to or residing in endemic areas, particularly in rural regions or high-transmission zones, and for occupational exposure.

**Dosing Schedule**

Children (1–<3 years): Two doses of 0.25 mL each, Day 0 and Day 28.

Children, Adolescents & Adults (≥3–≤49 years): Two doses of 0.5 mL each, Day 0 and Day 28.

Adults (18–49 years) at continuous risk: Booster dose recommended 12–14 months after primary series.

**Administration**

Administer by qualified healthcare professional. Available in vial and pre-filled syringe (PFS) formats. Two needle sizes supplied with PFS: 5/8″ for deltoid; 1″ for anterolateral thigh (children 1–<3 years). Shake vial thoroughly before use until white, homogeneous suspension forms. Do not use if particulate matter or discoloration persists. Complete immunization series at least 1 week before potential JEV exposure.

**Important** — Vaccinees receiving first dose of JEEV® should complete the series with JEEV® only.
