M-Vac (Live Attenuated Measles)

Live Attenuated Measles Vaccine is a freeze-dried vaccine containing a live, attenuated strain of the measles virus. It is indicated for active immunization against measles in infants, children, and susceptible adults. The vaccine stimulates the immune system to produce antibodies that protect against future measles infection. M-Vac helps prevent severe complications such as pneumonia, encephalitis, and death associated with measles. It is administered via subcutaneous injection, typically beginning at 9 months of age or as per national immunization guidelines.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to any component of the vaccine (including neomycin)
