Nervica (Pregabalin)

Pregabalin is an anticonvulsant and neuropathic pain medication. It works by binding to calcium channels in the nervous system, which reduces the release of certain neurotransmitters and helps decrease nerve pain and seizure activity.

Main Uses

• Neuropathic pain (diabetic neuropathy, post-herpetic neuralgia)
• Fibromyalgia
• Partial-onset seizures (as adjunct therapy in epilepsy)
• Generalized anxiety disorder (in some countries)

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to pregabalin or any component of the formulation
• History of angioedema related to pregabalin (rare)
