IV-Globulin SN (Human Normal Immunoglobulin)

Human Normal Immunoglobulin is a sterile, purified solution of human immunoglobulin (IgG) for intravenous administration (IVIG). It provides passive immunity and is used in the management of immunodeficiency syndromes and certain autoimmune or inflammatory disorders.

Main Uses:

• Replacement therapy in primary or secondary immunodeficiency conditions
• Treatment of autoimmune diseases such as immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and Guillain-Barré syndrome
• Immunomodulatory therapy in Kawasaki disease, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), and myasthenia gravis
• Passive immunity enhancement in patients with compromised immune response

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to human immunoglobulin or excipients
• IgA deficiency with anti-IgA antibodies (risk of anaphylaxis)
• Severe renal impairment or history of thromboembolic disorders related to IVIG use
