Calcimed (Calcium Ascorbate)

Contents: Ascorbic Acid

Description: Each capsule has 500 milligrams of ascorbic acid (equivalent to 605.20 mg to calcium ascorbate).

Indication/Use: Calcimed is used for the treatment and prevention of Vitamin C deficiency. 

Dosage: One to two capsules daily, or as directed by a doctor, is the recommended dose.

Contraindication: Hypercalcaemia and/or hypercalciuria-causing diseases and/or illnesses include hyperparathyroidism, vitamin D overdose, decalcifying tumors such plasmacytomas and skeletal metastases, severe renal failure not responsive to dialysis, and osteoporosis brought on by immobility. Kidney calculi (nephrolithiasis).
