Mechanism of Action
Description: Dienogest, a none thinylated progestogen, reduces oestradiol production, thereby suppressing oestradiol’s trophic effects on both eutopic and ectopic endometrium.

Vinca Drug Interactions
Increased clearance w/ enzyme inducers eg, phenytoin, barbiturates, primidone, carbamazepine, rifampicin; oxcarbazepine, topiramate, felbamate, griseofulvin, St. John's wort-containing products.
